Final Egoprise Conference took place from 13- 14th November 2012 in Berlin, Germany

Review of 3 years project implementation and presentation of final results

From 13th – 14th of November projects partners came together for the Final Egoprise Conference in Berlin. Almost all egoprise members were present here.

The Final Conference- organized as internal part of the back-to-back event and Business Registration Workshop on 15th of November - was used to present and discuss final results and tools developed during 3 years project implementation. The results are something to be proud of:

Within work package 3 the results of the study “Transnational Action Plans for multilateral Business Registration” were presented. It contains step by step recommendations for necessary changes and adaptations of legal frames and regulations to facilitate the cross-border business registration in Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, and Latvia. Building on the insights gained by this study a business registration support tool has been developed and presented by the Lead Partner e-government Association Mecklenburg- Vorpommern. Moreover partners involved in WP 3 activities showed first national solutions facilitating business registration in Latvia and Germany and building permit execution in Estonia.

Main output of activities related to work package 4 are summarized in the publication “Transnational Action Plans for Employment of foreign Labor”. It focuses on the collection of necessary legal changes needed in the implementation of the ideal employment process of foreign labor inside and between selected countries. However, a recommendation package for each country is the final deliverable/output of this action Plan. The latter contains a description of the Ideal Process, descriptions of current processes and problems & challenges therein, and recommendations for legal changes and serves to be disseminated to decision-makers. To facilitate the employment of foreign labour in future a new e-service has been developed (Road map for the employment of foreign labour).

Within work package 5 digital greenhouses were developed in Estonia, Finland, Germany, and Latvia. Specifically that means that websites of regional authorities or initiatives were adjusted to focus more on the needs of businesses.  Customers benefit from tools developed in WP 3 and 4. The latter were integrated into websites.
