Staff and end user training events carried out by Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences for new eServices

Training events for public authorities and end users regarding the new Welcome to Seinäjoki Region portal and the Interactive Road Map service for employers and foreign employees have been carried out by Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences. The staff of the International Centre of Seinäjoki was trained on updating the content of the new Road Map eService on two occasions, on the 3rd of August and 11th of October, 2012. Seinäjoki Business Centre staff was trained on the updating of the portal on the 15th of October 2012. The public administrations’ business center representatives of the eight municipalities in the Seinäjoki Region were introduced in to new Road Map service in a joint meeting on the 30th of August, 2012. Collective feedback for the portal was also collected for future developments.

Enterprises and regional business life actors who represent one important end user group to the Road Map eService in particular were directly introduced to the service in Aivoriihi 2013 seminar which was organized by a Finnish project partner, the South-Osthrobothnia Chamber of Commerce.

Training events continue in the beginning of November with the staff training of the eight Seinäjoki region municipalities’ staff in services for immigrants. Training will involve both the new eService Road Map and portal.
