Online Awarding Platform Mecklenburg-Vorpommern

Especially in times of short public funds, innovative financing models are needed that allow savings while increasing efficiency. The purpose of the online awarding portal which has been jointly developed by the eGovernment association Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and the “Deutsche eVergabe” within the frame of the project egoprise meets this demand with a web-based and legally compliant procurement software.
Shortly after we have conducted information events for public administrations in November / December 2010, we now want local governments interested to use this online awarding. The eGovernment association Mecklenburg-Vorpommern has already filled the site with a first tender and gained experience in handling. To walk the path to electronic procurement, you need nothing more than a computer, an Internet connection and a web browser (ideally Internet Explorer version 7). The installation of software and the provision of storage is a thing of the past.

For contracting authorities and bidders, the awarding platform means a much more rapid and efficient management of tenders than before. In addition to free local and nationwide search for public announcements, the complete tender documents can be downloaded and the tender will be conducted online. The relief of the budgets, more commercially contract awards and a higher number of tender submissions formally correct are only some of many positive changes.

You want to get to know the tender and procurement platform, but fear a time-intensive training? For this reason the German eVergabe provides a unique video podcast and Webinar offer free of charge! Regardless of whether you approach the subject or you are already experienced users, the new video podcasts will quickly and easily inform about the functions of the procurement portal as well as offering user training.

The following podcasts are provided:
• The free registration process for public authorities
• Maintaining lists of entrepreneurs
• Creation of a restricted tender
• Invitation to a restricted tender
• Creating a public tender
The range of video podcasts is constantly expanding, and all Podcasts can be found at

In addition to the video podcasts, 30-minute online seminars, called Webinars, are offered. Interested awarding bodies may also register for free here:
