Belarusian delegation meets e-government association Mecklenburg-Vorpommern

German specialists give an insight into current projects

From the 12th to 13th of December 2012 a Belarusian delegation visited the Lead Partner of Egoprise E-government association Mecklenburg- Vorpommern. With the intention to get a deeper insight into their experiences in the field of e-government and projects involved on regional level the guests came to Schwerin.

“All of our students are employers from different public bodies and ministries in Belarus. At the moment they attend 1-year- further education at the Academy of Public Administration in Minsk. During the trip the students get to know different approaches and explore its possibilities for dissemination to Belarusian organizations. In autumn – when they return to their workplaces - the knowledge and experiences gathered can be directly exchanged. This is a quite interesting approach from my point of view. ”- says Prof. Ihar Hancheronak.

The e-government association Mecklenburg- Vorpommern used the visit of the Belarusian delegation as opportunity to present three recent projects related to e-government projects: council information system, procedure for civil status and portal for marriage / birth certificates. After the lectures, a lively discussion followed between the audience and speakers from Lead partner organization.
