Egoprise project dissemination in Denmark

Information meeting at the Frigate of Jutland, Syddjurs, Denmark

On Wednesday 31 October 2012 Syddjurs Municipality arranged an information meeting at the Frigate of Jutland about the egoprise project. The meeting was used to inform the guests how the Municipalities of Syddjurs, Norddjurs, and Favrskov, together with Viden Djurs have cooperated in the egoprise project on the theme of e-government. In the project, the partners have focused on end user needs and end user opinions about the use of public digital services and the development of the new municipal homepages for business service. The motivation to take part was its thematic focus on SMEs in rural areas.

After the introduction on the egoprise project, the meeting went on to deal with another important topic for many local SMEs in the retail trade: the relationship between the retail trade and the Internet. Mr. Tony Evald Clausen, Manager of the firm Salgspiloterne (the Sales Pilots), opened a debate on the relationship between the Internet and SMEs in rural areas- in e-government matters as well as in the daily sales work of the local retail traders. There were many questions and debates on various topics within the field of digitalization. At the end of the meeting, the participants left very satisfied and inspired.
