Narva entrepreneurs will be informed and trained on possibilities of e-government

Training seminar on e-Government services for businesses during “National Entrepreneurship Week” in Narva on 5th October 2012


The training aims to raise the awareness on the opportunities of Narva entrepreneurs in the modern information society in Estonia and the benefits of e-services for business. The training is organised as a practical exercise, developed by the Narva BAS Foundation ( and the Estonian e-Governance Academy (

The event focuses on the following topics: what e-government services in Estonia are available today to help entrepreneurs; how they improve the access of businesses to information and free the communication from bureaucratic impediments; why it is cost effective to use e-services by entrepreneurs? The workshop participants will be introduced to specific internet addresses of greatest interest to existing and start-up companies and how to work with.  

During the seminar also the Narva business portal will be presented to the participants. Parts of the existing portal will be upgraded within the Egoprise project activities. The workshop participants will be informed on the new features in the portal operation, among others with the opportunity for entrepreneurs to complete documents online, step by step road maps for obtaining a building permit or hiring a foreign employee, feedback from Narva municipal officers to entrepreneurs.

The seminar takes place on October 5 from 11.00 to 13.30 in the conference hall of the Narva hotel.  A leaflet for entrepreneurs to be distributed at the “National Entrepreneurship Week” is available here.
