Information obligation for small and medium-sized enterprises in Baltic Sea Region & Belarus
Compilation on the reduction of admnistrative burdons in selcted BSR countries
This analysis identifies relevant information obligations causing high administrative costs especially on small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) in seven Baltic Sea Region (BSR) countries. Derived from the list made for each examined country recommendations are given which information obligation is appropriate for e-government implementation. Due to the special situation for Belarus only the general situation and to a small extent issues regarding optimising the business environment and administrative burden reduction will be presented. The objective is to ease the administrative burdens and therefore to reduce the costs for enterprises in order to rise their competiveness. In the second part of the document for each BSR country information obligations will be identified arising when hiring foreign employees. This is one of the priorities of the Egoprise project.
